My Favourite Singer; Florian Cloud de Bounevialle Armstrong

Dido was born at St. Mary Abbots hospital in Kensington, London on Christmas Day 1971. Because she was born on Christmas Day, she also celebrates an "official birthday" on June 25, following the example of Paddington Bear. Her mother, Clare (née Collins) is a French poet and her father, William O'Malley Armstrong was an Irish publisher and former managing director of Sidgwick & Jackson. She has an older brother, Rowland Constantine O'Malley Armstrong who is better known as record producer Rollo. Despite their impressive birth names, the pair were known from childhood by the names that are famous now — Dido and Rollo. Dido has made it clear that "Dido" is now her real name and not simply a stage name or nickname.

Dido was named after the mythical Queen of Carthage. As a child, she had to deal with the ambiguous and unusual nature of her name, which led to her being bullied and even to her pretending to have an ordinary name. As she explains:

To be called one thing and christened another is actually very confusing and annoying. It's one of the most irritating things that my parents did to me. ...Florian is a German man's name. That's just mean. To give your child a whole lot of odd names. They were all so embarrassing. ...I thought it was cruel to call me Dido and then expect me to just deal with it.

Dido, Interview published in The Observer in 2001

Dido was educated at Thornhill Primary, City of London Girls' and Westminster School. After she stole a recorder from school at age five, her parents enrolled her at the Guildhall School of Music in London, England. By the time she reached her teens Dido had learned to play the piano, recorder and the violin. She later studied law at Birkbeck, University of London, while working as a literary agent. She never completed the course, deciding instead to take up music full-time. After learning the guitar, she showcased her skills to audiences during her 2004 Life for Rent tour.

The Most Mismatched Couple

It took 25 years of hard work for Eddie Murphy to go from "Saturday Night Live" cast member to Oscar-nominated thespian. But it took just 2-1/2 minutes of the "Norbit" trailer to kill any hope he ever had of being taken seriously again. As both the nerdy title character and his overweight and domineering wife Rasputia, Murphy proved he can be supremely unpleasant no matter what size or gender.

Just Dance

When I get really bored, I mean really, I just plug in my earphones and start listening to music. Seems like a pastime but I make it a hobby. I kinda like to listen to energetical songs with high a high tempo but a low one will do equally fine. The one's that I like listening to are Just Dance by Lady Gaga, well it just makes me feel more or less like dancing my head off really. If you're feeling down or some sort I guess that this is a song that can lift people's spirits up, well I don't know about you guys but this stuff works on me really.

Pirates Of The Caribbean

Have you guys watched Pirates Of The Caribbean? I guess most of you had. Anyway the thing that I find most amusing of this movie is its soundtrack. All of it composed by one man of course by the name of Hans Zimmer. Most of the songs he composed in this movie is phenomenal, don't you think so? Besides that Hans has also composed the music entitled, 'Alex On The Spot', from the movie Madagascar 2 which was sang by Will.I.Am. Amazing right how one man can compose such masterpieces. I find it phenomenal by the way. If you have a chance search for these famous pieces by Hans Zimmer, The Kraken, Theme of Davy Jones, Klaus Badelt, and etc. These are a few of the many awesome pieces composed by Hans Zimmer that you guys must listen to. Its awesome, trust me.

Techno

If you guys love music with a series of unusual pauses fast tempo or two of these in one then you gotta check out Benny Benassi(pic). This guy can really take Techno musics to the next level if you ask me.One of his famous musics is Satisfaction. This music has many types, from club mix to hard mix. His music is so cool that you can listen to it in a series of different tempo's. But its best to play his songs when you're throwing a party really. Among other famous Techno songs that you can catch are, Song, Around the World, Atlantica, Jay and Jane, Euro Dancer, I Close My eyes, Mascarade, and etc.
